OT/PT

The OT and PT department address the needs of the students through IEP goals and objectives. Both departments work with students through the age of 3 to 21 years old.

  • Occupational Therapy (OT) addresses the physical, cognitive, psychosocial and sensory components of performance.  In schools, occupational therapy practitioners support student’s access and participation in school activities and educational programs, composing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Therapy sessions are provided according to each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP), using meaningful activities, typically targeting fine motor, visual perceptual, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and/or executive functioning skills, to help students participate effectively and efficiently.
