CITI 2019 Sparks Post Presentation

The Church Interpreter Training Institute (CITI) was a success with 23 registrants, from 8 different states, ranging in age from 14 to 70. CITI instructed American Sign Language interpreters, church members and professional church workers in church interpreting and Deaf ministry to better serve people who are Deaf with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Following the CITI program this year, Deaconess Heidi Sias was able to present on Deaf ministry to participants of the Phoebe School, a part of the Christ Academy at Concordia Theological Seminary—a program for high school-aged men and women who are thinking about becoming pastors and deaconesses.
